AIDS cases in San Francisco have risen to alarming rates--currently 5 new patients per week are reported. This epidemic is not leveling off. No one has been cured. No cure is even hinted for the future. When you are diagnosed with AIDS, you are being handed a death notice. In San Francisco, the longest living AIDS patient made it one and a half years.
