Poor attendance has always plagued the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. In 1984, the problem was complicated by a last place finish in the National League Eastern division. A group of unenthused fans sit among a sea of empty seats during a late August game with the Atlanta Braves. The Pirates are currently for sale.
