The University of Kentucky's first foreign basketball recruit, Gunther Benhke. While keeping a training regimen designed to prepare him for big time basketball, Benhke seemed reluctant to leave his family and the only girlfriend he ever had. In the end, it was too much to leave. He came to Kentucky, stayed less than a week, and returned to Germany for good.
