Young girl killed by rookie Haitian national policeman in a dispute with another man. The killing sparked riot between police and residents of Cite Soleil slum. There is a growing distrust of the inexperienced new police force who are expected to provide security when the UN pulls out after the inauguration. Preval has requested a 6-month UN extension of mission.
