Building a Better Bayview

Earlier in the year, one of Bayview's most pressing problems was the poor water quality from its shallow hand pump wells. As Bayview's plight was publicized, the town got a grant and deeper wells were dug and the water quality improved. At a recent community get together, guests at the gathering were invited by Bayview activist Alice Coles to feel the cool, clean water and sample it. These wells are only a temporary emergency solution indoor plumbing for a view is at least two years away.
