The Kichwas tribe, Elvia Chimbo Aquinda and her son Rivaldo Aquida 1, walk though a remediated oil field in the backgound gas is burnt off from a nearby oil field. Elvia is the daughter of Maria Aquinda whom the lawsuit against the oil companies is named after. Picture taken in Rumipamba, Sucumbios region of Ecuador, Sunday, October 26, 2003.
