A young boy watches as Spc. Don Ezra Plemmons of 3rd Platoon Delta Co. of the 2/87 Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade 10th Mountain Division based at COP Sayedabad buys pharmaceutical supplies as he participates in a patrol through the bazaar in the town of Sayedabad in Wardak province. Spc. Plemmons can easily procure sufficient supplies for his aid station through military logistics, but shopping patrols like these are intended to literally buy the trust and support of villagers in the market in Sayedabad.
