A torn American Flag flies over a snow-covered cemetery in Tuba, Arizona where Thomasina Nez's former partner, and Father to 5 of her children, is buried. Dispute over the 1.6 million acre tract of tribal land in northern Arizona became known as the 'Bennett freeze.' It is a land frozen in time because of government bureaucracy.
