Although tattooing implements are not allowed inside the prison, tattoo artists abound. A sharpened guitar string and India ink suffice. Many club members have symbols tattooed in various parts of the body. The swastika is used by the motorcycle club, teardrop by the Mexican Mafia, boxing chicken by the Aryan brotherhood.
