Caption/Description

Inmates convicted of prison infractions are sentenced to the 'hole' 23 hours a day in one's cell is broken as two inmates are allowed out for some exercise or TV. Inmates are allowed out of the hole in handcuffs at the whim of the administration. Calendars on the wall are the only way to mark time, and some men have spent over two years in the hole.
