Sailboats of all sizes passed Chicago in the 72nd annual Mackinac Boat Race. The 330-mile race is run from Monroe Street Harbor up Lake Michigan to Mackinac Island near the northern point of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. The 288 boats, ranging in length from 27 feet to 70 feet, spent about 48 hours completing the course.
