Michele stayed by Paula's bed day and night during the last few days. This was New Year's Eve, the day before she died. In top right Paula's grandmother comforted Karla while they listened to Paula's screams of pain. In bottom right, Paula was in pain most of the time. Here she screamed for medicine just a few days before she died.
