Another close friend and birth coach joined the trio at Kimberly's house. It was a hot July afternoon, and Kimberly said the contractions would get stronger and speed up the birth if they went for a walk. They strolled down a wooded area in a sparsely populated area near Kimberly's house, stopping every seven minutes or so while Jennifer experienced a contraction.
