Caption/Description

They called themselves the Women's Encampment for Peace and they settled into Seneca Falls, New York to protest nuclear weapons and war. Throughout the summer, hundreds of women lived in tents. Some of the women scaled the gates of a nearby army depot to be arrested for their cause.
