Beirut Barracks Bombing

A wounded U.S. Marine is rescued from the ruins after the Oct. 23 terrorist truck-bombing of a U.S. Marines headquarters building at Beirut airport. Fellow Marines, Lebanese soldiers and Lebanese rescue workers aid him. There were 241 U.S. servicemen killed in the bombing.
