Countless pictures were made of President Reagan as he sought and won reelection, but this one showing him relaxing aboard Air Force One on a flight from Salt Lake City to Chicago created the biggest stir. He routinely changes to informal and comfortable clothes while airborne, but some at the White House thought this photo not in keeping with his image.
