An 11-story surgical and maternity ward of the Juarez Hospital in Mexico City is reduced to looking like a stack of pancakes by the devastating earthquake. After hours of digging through the rubble, badly-needed medical supplies were recovered enabling surviving doctors to set up an emergency treatment area for the people found alive.
