Garden Grove, CA - Jack Ruelas’ friend carries a real, though unloaded gun to school. The friend says he needs it to scare gang members. Jack’s parents are undocumented workers from Mexico, who came to America to find a better life, and decent education for their children. The Ruelas work three jobs between them as domestics in Disneyland area hotels.
