Sierra Sneith is the only baby ever born to someone who has undergone a heart transplant. Doctors warned mother Betsy that she would possibly die if she did not terminate the pregnancy. Sneith decided to have the baby anyway and died after giving birth to the healthy girl. Sierra, photographed at age eight months, lives with her grandparents and has no idea just how remarkable her life is.
