Donald Fox is a welder by trade. For years, he has followed the job market from state to state. As the economy of the Ohio Valley continues to change from manufacturing to service industry, Fox has found it impossible to find employment. Many of industries that once thrived in the region are now gone, leaving large numbers of skilled laborers, such as Fox, without hope. With no income to support the family, Fox unhappily moved them to a Volunteers of America shelter. This picture story looks at the lives of the Foxes, Donald, Helen, Jamie, Sissy and Mary--a homeless family.
