Saying Goodbye

When we grow old, we all go through many transformations--changes that are physical, a slowing of mental facalties--maybe a sharpening overall on the big picture. But one thing everyone has in common is a need to be loved and to give and receive attention. After a full day of attention and activities at a senior center, this man couldn't bear the thought of saying goodbye to someone special--to leaving and to loneliness.
