A limping U.S. 1st cavalry division soldier under enemy fire, fights his way through blasts of sand kicked up by evacuation helicopters in the graveyard where a heavy battle took place in Hoai Chau, South Vietnam. Moments after the men were evacuated, friendly forces mistakenly opened fire on the remainder of that company with machine guns and mortars.
