Succession of violence in March, 1988, after the slayings of two IRA members by English anti-terrorist forces in Gibraltar. During the burials of two IRA members, an anonymous shooter fired upon mourners. The lynching of two off-duty English policemen by a crowd in a subsequent funeral courtage followed.
