Story Summary, The war of stones gained the world's attention in January of 1988 and continues to hold it to this day. With a handful of rocks the youth of the Intifada laid down their lives for hope of a better life. Recognition of the PLO by the United States has given them light but no final solution. Death and economic hardship continues to take hold of these young Palestinians as they live their lives one day at a time. Caption, A handful of rocks.
