Story Summary, January 15th, 1988, the Israeli military moved quickly into the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem after the Arabs burnt an Israeli flag. Tear gas was fired into the Holy Shrine which escalated violence in the site to unprecedented level. Caption, On January 15th, 1988, Palestinians held Friday Prayer Meeting at the Dome of the Rock in Old City of Jerusalem. After the service, youths started to demonstrate in front of the Dome, chanting anti-Israeli sloagans.
