This bird, covered in oil, is examined before being flown to Valdez to be cleaned up. The bird was found last Friday on one of the islands in Prince William Sound. The area became a massive oil-slick after the tanker Exxon Valdez ran aground about 25 miles from Valdez, March 24th.
