Despite a Presidential order banishing squirrels from the White House lawn, where they had played hob with President Eisenhower's putting green, this rebel not only refused to leave, but flaunted his disdain for authority by shinnying up a rail of the picket fence surrounding the Executive Mansion. One can imagine him, appropriately enough, muttering 'Nuts!'
