Caption/Description
Story Summary,Liberty City. A blighted neighborhood within Miami that carries a reputation for violence and as the flash point for the urban riots of the past decade. Yet here is the story of a child who at the ripe age of 4 was thrust into a horrible case of a random shooting that culminated in the shooting of 4 playmates, one of them herself, and her best friend's murder. Yet Jennifer testified and as such is the youngest child believed to have testified in the U.S. courts in a murder case. The man went to jail, but what happens to her life now? She's the oldest of five children. Her mom is 19 and having a tough time holding a job. Her father is in and out of work. And they continue to live in a dangerous part of town. Caption,After the shooting, Jennifer moved out of Liberty City into the equally dangerous town of Opa-Locka. She and her sister and brothers often go over to Grandma's house to play. Here, Jennifer with Grandma Carrie.
