A high school student drives a truck in the city of Angeles, near now abandoned Clark US Air Base, after the 5,842 foot Mt. Pinatubo, Philippines, blew its top after 611 years of being dormant. The eruption with accompanying earthquakes and torrential rains took 330 lives.
