Caption/Description
From orphaned children to wounded soldiers, from refugees staying in school houses to the POW, in 1992 there are victims of an ethnic war. A war that, like other wars, will make orphans and widows. A war that will change everything and nothing. And their eyes are the eyes of another time, as it turns the rooms cold and still, and there is madness in the moment. An indictment of the world and all its hatred. Nine year old Ivana cries for her mother as nurse Ankica Damianovic comforts her at teh Slavinski Broad hospital. Ivana was injured when a cluster bomb hit the shelter where her family had taken refuge. Only she and a stepbrother survived.
