Cowboy Roy Gafford inspects a cow frozen to death in a waterhole on the 300,000-acre Ogallala ranch of the Moore Sheep Co., near Ross, Wyo. The weather caused heavy sheep and cattle losses in the ranch country. Drifts stall all vehicles, forcing stockmen to ride horses.
