A few moments after President Eisenhower presented retiring General Matthew Ridgway, former U.S. Chief of Staff, with a 3rd Oak Leaf Cluster to his Distinguished Service Medal, his six-year-old son Matthew, Jr., was revelling in the newest decoration on his favorite soldier. Mrs. Ridgeway enjoys Junior's enthusiasm.
