a bath consisted of sitting on the dirt and having some water thrown on her. After the washing, she had to be helped to her feet, too weak to stand on her own. She was so thin that I could see every bone in her body. Her skin sucked into her body like shrink wrap. Later in the day I found crawling back to the shelter after using the tall grass as a latrine.
