With the snow-covered wreckage of the Northeast Airlines plane in background, an unidentified chaplain says last rites over victims of the disaster of Rikers Island in New York's East River, February 1st. The passenger airplane crashed on the island airport. It is reported that 21 of the 94 persons aboard were killed and 35 others injured.
