Caption/Description

Charity and Kathleen Lincoln were born conjoined from the ribcage to the pelvis. Although not life-threatening, the condition would have made walking impossible. The girls’ parents, Greg and Vaniece Lincoln, opted to have the girls surgically separated to provide them the opportunity to lead separate lives. After 31 hours of surgery, the separation was successful and the twins returned home a month later. Three-year-old Annelise Lincoln plays with her conjoined twin sisters, Charity(left) and Kathleen at the family’s home. A month later, they were surgically separated.
