As Sky sleeps under the protective cover of his car seat, Paula screams out in desperation as she rides in a friend’s car away from the police department. After finally calming from her fit of yelling and crying, she calmly utters, “if they take Sky, they might as well hand me a gun so I can shoot myself.”
