The Escapade Mackinac Winner

First to complete the 242-mile run to Mackinac, the 72-foot yawl, Escapade, also led the 1947 fleet across the finish line. Mr. Spina shot from the blister of a PBY plane at an altitude of only 100 feet. His 'panning'--moving the camera parallel with the boat--froze the action.
