'Destined to Die' -- Dogs and cats from the Humane Society are stacked in barrels on a truck en route to a rendering plant to be used in fertilizer. The number of animals killed by city shelters grew to 22,000 last year as no one seems to be able to find an answer to the problem of unwanted animals.
