At 9 o'clock each morning 19 doctors make their daily rounds at the Jamheret Hospital and debate how to treat patients like Ghulam Sabder, 60, who is suffering from kidney problems. Due to a lack of instruments and medicines, the doctors spend up to 30 minutes discussing the best way to treat the ill with little more than a stethoscope and a x-ray machine. The clock above has not worked in 6 years.
