The newly corrected eye of Harry Constance of San Diego is illuminated by a cobalt blue light that shows the area where heat affected the cornea of his eye immediately following a new laser eye procedure that is non-invasive. The procedure was done January 18, 2001. The procedure is called Laser Thermal Keratoplasty, and uses heat to affect the cornea to correct vision. The procedure takes 3 seconds per eye.
