Caption/Description
An asbestos fiber found in a home during EPA testing is detected by the fine eye of an electron microscope. The fiber is straight with spear-like appendages. When breathed into the lungs the fiber digs deeper into the tissue with no way to reverse the trajectory, eventually leading the way for lethal illness.
