CODE BREAKER - Steve Yamamoto,84, of Riverside was among the Japanese Americans who interrogated Japanese prisoners, intercepted Japanese military communications and interpreted documents for the military intelligence during World War II. The photo next to Yamamoto is when he was in Chicago on leave as US Army Cpt. in 1945.
