HENNA HAND-In the markets of Morocco, among the spices are baskets of dried green leaves and lime-green powder is also henna, plant of paradise and love according to Moroccans. The sight of hands covered up to the wrists and feet covered to the ankle is as common as nail polish or makeup in other countries. This woman, selling candles outside the tomb of Moulay Idriss II in Fez, says the design is to show love for her husband.
