Kamal Khan Zadran, center with white turban by the door, governor of Khost, prayed with his commanders after a meeting with them at the governor's mansion in Khost, Afghanistan. With Kamal's brother, Haji Padsha Khan Zadran, they carried out an attack next day on Gardez, a city controlled by the stronghold of a rival warlord Saifullah.
