Riot in Kabul

02/15/02-- ISAF troops from Austria struggled to keep eager Afghan fans at bay as a crowd of thousands tried to get into the sold-out 'Game of Unity' soccer match between the British ISAF team and Kabul United. The crowd pushed, shoved, and climbed their way into the walled compound to the area where ISAF troops were searching people before they entered Ghazi Stadium in Kabul, Afghanistan. Many were crushed in the mob of thousands that crowded around the walls. ISAF eventually fired warning shots and used dogs to get the unruly crowd under control and back out of the area before the game.
