Rescuer Falls to Death

Shortly before midnight Mr. Levitz learned a youth had been stranded on a remote mountain ledge fouteen miles from Tucson. He immediately left for the scene, where, with members of rescue party, he took up an all-night vigil. Next morning a deputy sheriff, attempting to pass a rope to the boy, lost footing, and plunged to instant death.
