Caption/Description
When Vice President Richard M. Nixon returned from his strife-torn tour of South America, on May 17, 1958, several thousand admirers, politicians and diplomats were on hand to greet him. Tricia and Julie, waited on the sidelines, calmly, used to the furor of political fame. Pres. Eisenhower let Nixon take over the waving chores. It was Nixon's day.
