ODESSA, UKRAINE - AUGUST 27 2004, 9 year old Vladic Karaseyov has been homeless since the age of six. On the streets of Odessa like many other children he became an Intravenous Drug User and contracted HIV. He is pictured in the Odessa Regional Kids Hospital suffering greatly as the hospital is not equipped or prepared to deal with a child in his condition. His daily existance is one of unbelieveable pain and discomfort. He died two weeks after this photograph was taken.
