JUAREZ, MEXICO: DEC. 21, 2008- A man's body is prepared to be identified by family member after being murdered in Juarez Mexico. The border city of Juárez (population: 1.5 million) is a slaughterhouse ruled by drug lords where the death toll for 2008 is 1,600. The coroner's office is open 24/7 and employs more than 100 doctors, technicians and investigative specialists, who cover Ciudad Juarez and northern Chihuahua state.
