Caption/Description
A dead kangaroo hangs from the side of a hunter’s truck in and arid farmland in New South Wales, Australia. Kangaroos are considered a pest because they drink from the irrigation wells that supply local farms. As farmland irrigation systems spread to previously arid regions, kangaroos follow, so farmers allow hunters access to their land to curb the expanding population of kangaroos.
